Join us!\nAbout this role:\nWells Fargo is seeking an Information Security Manager to join our Cybersecurity Technology group. The Cybersecurity group is responsible for protecting the company from cyber threats, engaging with Wells Fargo businesses, assessing information security risk, providing identity services, performing security engineering, and operating the Cybersecurity function.\nThis Information Security Manager will be responsible for leading IAM operational teams and building a cross-trained organization that can effectively support multiple processes and functions. This role drives operational excellence, develops talent, promotes knowledge sharing, and ensures team members gain the skills necessary to provide coverage across critical functions. This manager will partner with stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient access management services while improving workforce flexibility, resiliency, and employee development.\nIn this role, you will:\nManage and optimize IAM business operations, ensuring alignment with organizational security and business objectives\n\nInvestigate security incidents and recommend corrective action or risk treatment plans\n\nProvide training to users on IAM policies and procedures and offer expert troubleshooting and support for IAM-related issues\n\nCollaborate with IT, cybersecurity, HR, and business teams to enhance IAM processes, automation, and efficiency\n\nDevelop IAM business strategies, metrics, and reporting to measure effectiveness and compliance\n\nSupport IAM program initiatives, including role-based access control (RBAC), privileged access management (PAM) and identity lifecycle management\n\nEnsure seamless onboarding, offboarding and access review process to maintain security and minimize risks\n\nManage IAM-related projects, driving continuous improvements in identity governance, workflows, and user experience\n\nAct as a liaison between business stakeholders and IAM technical teams to translate business needs into actionable IAM strategies\n\nMonitor and enhance IAM risk management processes, ensuring timely mitigation and security gaps\n\nWork with vendor, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure IAM operations adhere to best practices\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education\n\n5+ years of experience in Information Security operations management or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education\n\n2+ years of Leadership experience\n\nDesired Qualifications:\n5+ years of Identity Access Management experience preferred\n\n2+ years of Technology or Business controls experience\n\n2+ years related work experience in financial industry operations or systems\n\nStrong understanding of IAM frameworks, identity governance, and security best practices\n\nFamiliarity with IAM technologies such as Okta, SailPoint, Microsoft Azure AD, CyberArk or similar platforms\n\nFamiliarity with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP) and compliance frameworks\n\nProven ability to manage IAM projects, optimize processes, and drive operational efficiencies\n\nCISSP, CISM, or other relevant information security professional certifications\n\nJob Expectations:\nThis position offers a hybrid work schedule - ability to work in office\n\nThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship\n\nRelocation assistance is not available for this position\n\nPosting End Date:\n6 Oct 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.\nWe Value Equal Opportunity\nWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
