About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a motivated Lead Information security engineer to join an exciting, fast paced team working on cutting edge next generation firewall and security management technologies. This role will provide technical leadership and be an individual contributor to firewall engineering teams that design and deploy network security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading the certification, design and deployment of next generation firewall technologies. In addition, the candidate should also have demonstrated experience in automating processes including product builds, operational maintenance, and customer integration and onboarding. In this role, you will: Lead the evaluation of vendor proposals, new and existing security designs, and emerging firewall technologies and systems. Lead teams including business partners and vendors to solve problems and design information and network security solutions. Design, document, plan, coordinate, and implement complex information security solutions. Create fit for purpose template configurations to ensure consistent deployment of firewall infrastructure.
