This position will provide audit and control support, process improvements, create engineering documentation, provide support for engagements and application IDs, change creation, review and approval in support of technologies within the inbound web application security space.\nIn this role, you will:\nProvide security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards\nDesign, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for highly complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security\nReview and correlate security logs\nUtilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity\nIdentify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives\nCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education\n\n5+ years of experience in an enterprise environment\nDesired Qualifications:\nLayer 7 web security experience (Bot, API, L7 DDoS, WAF)\nAdvanced knowledge of HTTP/S\nServiceNow experience\nExperience with vendors such as: Akamai and/or Cloudflare\n\nContent delivery network experience\nFamiliarity with DNS and Load Balancing\nTechnical documentation experience\nJira and Confluence experience\nStrategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives\nTechnology experience in the Financial Services sector\nAbility to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames\nAdvanced critical thinking, problem solving and technical troubleshooting abilities\nStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy\nExperience with and the ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced technology and/or information security organization, within a large enterprise environment\nJob Expectations:\nAbility to work off hours and occasional weekends to support change activities\nThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship\nThis position offers a hybrid work schedule\nRelocation assistance is not available for this position\nPay Range\nReflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
