This role will influence and support how network reliability is measured, engineered, automated, and continuously improved. This is an opportunity to drive modernization, reduce operational risk, and improve the stability of services that support critical business operations.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead the planning, governance and execution of software upgrades across enterprise infrastructure, ensuring platform stability, operational readiness, security compliance, and minimal business disruption\nDirect enterprise vulnerability management initiatives by assessing network security risks, establishing remediation priorities, coordinating cross-functional mitigation efforts, and reducing organizational exposure to critical threats\nServe as a technical leader for major incident response activities, driving rapid triage, root cause analysis, service restoration, and long-term corrective actions for high-impact production events\nProvide strategic oversight for change management processes by evaluating technical risk, developing implementation approaches, and ensuring changes align with reliability, resiliency, and operational excellence objectives\nLead enterprise-wide network reliability and service stabilization programs by identifying systemic issues, implementing engineering improvements, establishing operational standards, and driving continuous enhancements that improve platform performance, availability, and customer experience\nAssess changes for risk to production systems and assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas\nIdentify gaps in current technology processes and recommend changes to assure Service Level Agreements can be supported\nCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of Network Engineering experience, reliability engineering, or network operations supporting business-critical enterprise network services or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education\nRelevant experience leading planning, governance and execution of software upgrades across enterprise infrastructure\nExperience leading enterprise vulnerability management and network security initiatives, including risk assessment, remediation prioritization, cross-functional coordination, and reduction of critical security exposures\nStrong understanding of vulnerability lifecycle management, threat mitigation strategies, and risk-based decision making within large-scale enterprise environments\nProven ability to lead enterprise-wide incident response and service recovery initiatives, conduct rigorous root cause analysis, drive sustainable corrective actions, and implement strategic process improvements that enhance operational resilience and service stability\nDesired Qualifications:\nRelevant networking, cloud, reliability, or IT service management certifications, such as CCNP/CCIE, Juniper, Arista, AWS/Azure networking, ITIL, or equivalent credentials\nKnowledge ore relevant experience of routing, switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, high-availability design, and related network services including load balancing, DNS, NTP, firewalls, and network security\nHands-on automation or scripting experience with tools such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent technologies\nExperience improving monitoring, telemetry, alerting, dashboards, metrics, service health reporting, or performance visibility for critical infrastructure services\nJob Expectations:\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship \nThis role is a hybrid work schedule 3 days in office 2 days remote\nPosting End Date:\n22 Oct 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.\nWe Value Equal Opportunity\nWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
