Explore opportunities with us for a career in a supportive environment where you can learn and grow.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact\nAct as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines\nDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs\nReview and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors\nMake decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives\nCollaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals\nLead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education\nHands on experience in Java, Spring boot, full stack development\nStrong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems.\nExperience building web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks such as Angular or React.\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience designing and implementing Agentic AI platforms, RAG solutions, orchestration frameworks, and multi-agent systems\nExperience with multi-model LLM strategies, including Gemini, Claude, OpenAI, and proprietary enterprise models.\nUnderstanding of AI model governance, explainability, validation, security, and risk management in regulated environments.\nExperience with event-driven architecture, Kafka, streaming platforms, and asynchronous integration patterns.\nExperience with cloud-native platforms and modern application deployment architectures\nExperience using or integrating AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin, Cursor, or similar platforms.\nStrong understanding of observability tools, production monitoring, resiliency engineering, and platform reliability\nExperience in the Mortgage domain, including origination, underwriting, servicing, document processing, or default management.\nKnowledge of workflow automation, intelligent document processing, decision engines, and AI-driven business process optimization.\nPrior experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and contributing to enterprise architecture initiatives.\nJob Expectations:\nServe as the technical authority for assigned products and platforms.\nDrive engineering excellence through architecture governance, code quality standards, and operational best practices.\nMentor senior and junior engineers while building high-performing technical teams.\nInfluence strategic technology decisions and help define the organization's AI engineering vision.\nFoster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.\nPosting End Date:\n7 Oct 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.\nWe Value Equal Opportunity\nWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
