You’ll leverage expertise in collateral management, account maintenance, and securities operations to resolve complex exceptions, strengthen controls, and drive operational excellence.\n.\nIn this role, you will:\nProcess basic securities-related transactions and support activities across the trade lifecycle\nSupport cash movement, funding, and account servicing activities\nResearch and resolve routine operational issues, exceptions, and inquiries\nConduct daily production activities and ensure timely, accurate execution of operational processes\nAdhere to established policies, procedures, controls, and risk management practices\nSupport client onboarding, securities settlement, and reconciliation activities\nCollaborate with internal partners to deliver consistent operational support and service\nIdentify opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiency\nServe as an SME for collateral management and securities operations, providing guidance on complex processes, transactions, and exceptions.\nPerform and review document validation, account maintenance, collateral, securities, and cash-related activities with a strong focus on accuracy and timely execution.\nResearch and resolve complex or escalated operational issues, including upstream and downstream dependencies.\nApply strong knowledge of securities and collateral concepts to identify discrepancies, operational risks, and appropriate resolutions.\nSupport quality reviews, root-cause analysis, risk mitigation, and control enhancements.\nPartner with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve time-sensitive operational and client-related issues.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, automation, and increased operational efficiency.\nProvide SME guidance, training, knowledge sharing, and coaching to strengthen overall team capabilities.\nUtilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, tracking, reporting, and operational oversight.\nRequired Qualifications:\n6+ months of securities operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education\nDesired Qualifications:\nMinimum 3.5 years of relevant experience in securities operations, collateral management, account servicing, or related financial operations.\nStrong knowledge of securities operations and collateral management.\nHands-on experience with document validation and account maintenance.\nGood proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to analyze and manage operational data.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, research, and exception-management skills.\nAbility to independently manage complex cases, exercise sound judgment, and operate within established risk and control frameworks.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.\nIn-depth understanding of collateral lifecycle management and related operational dependencies.\nExperience with securities processing, account servicing, reconciliations, cash and collateral-related activities.\nExperience managing complex exceptions, escalations, and time-sensitive transactions.\nDemonstrated understanding of operational risk, controls, quality, and root-cause analysis.\nExperience supporting training, knowledge management, process improvements, and operational change initiatives.\nAbility to serve as a subject matter expert, demonstrating strong technical knowledge, ownership, risk awareness, and attention to detail.\nPosting End Date:\n28 Oct 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.\nWe Value Equal Opportunity\nWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
