Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.\nThis Associate will work closely with our primary tax vendor, PricewaterhouseCoopers, our administrative and investment partners in Banking Lending and Trust, and outside accountants to provide excellent service and handle any issues or inquiries related to Fiduciary Tax Services.\nIn this role, you will:\nParticipate in low complexity lifecycle support tasks and help identify opportunities for process improvements within Securities Operations\n\nReview basic or tactical issues, policies or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, related to low risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact\n\nReceive direction from manager and exercise judgment within defined parameters related to resolving situations on a full process within a trade environment, while developing understanding of various functions, policies, and procedures\n\nProvide information to, collaborate, and consult with peers, colleagues and managers, including internal and external customers, to resolve issues and achieve goals\n\nBuild expertise in operational processes including client account onboarding, cash payments, customer service, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, structured loan operations, and general ledger reconciliation\n\nAssist in gathering data to support resolution of issues; review and analyze functional operational tasks that require research and evaluation\n\nResolve low complexity escalated issues within the scope of responsibility in Security Operations\n\nResearch low complexity business risks, provide input into policies, enhance customer satisfaction, and review time sensitive documents and transaction requests\n\nSupport overall effectiveness of the team according to plans; monitor daily securities and cash related production work\n\nContribute to implementation of projects, new or revised processes, and procedures that require coordination among operation teams and may perform analysis for initiatives that support business strategies\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n6+ months of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education\n\nDesired Qualifications:\n6+ months of fiduciary, charitable, and/or information tax return preparation experience\n\n6+ months experience using SEI Trust 3000\n\nKnowledge of estate, gift, and Generation-Skipping Transfer Tax (GSTT)\n\nUnderstanding of US state trust taxation issues for a national financial institution\n\nEffective problem solving, decision-making, organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills\n\nAbility to work independently, proactively, innovatively, and creatively while expressing sound judgement\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment\n\nExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills\n\nA BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or another business-related field\n\nComfortability with Microsoft Office Suite\n\nJob Expectations:\nAbility to work a hybrid schedule\n\nWillingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening\n\nThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship\n\nPosting Location:\nCharlotte, North Carolina\n\nPosting End Date:\n15 Oct 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.\nWe Value Equal Opportunity\nWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
