The role will partner with business, technology, data product, and data integrity teams to ensure data is accurate, governed, and fit for business and regulatory use.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead and participate in moderately complex data quality, data governance, metadata, and data management initiatives supporting business processes and downstream data consumption.\nAnalyze complex datasets using SQL to identify data defects, perform root-cause analysis, and drive remediation of data quality, integrity, process, and control gaps.\nAnalyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure compliance with data quality, risk, and governance standards and procedures.\nDefine and evaluate data quality metrics, execute data quality assessments and audits, and provide recommendations to management on the overall state of data and metadata quality.\nAssess new data sources and develop appropriate approaches for measuring, monitoring, and maintaining data quality.\nPartner with business, technology, data product, and data integrity stakeholders to coordinate solution design, remediation planning, and execution.\nDevelop clear business metadata, data dictionaries, requirements, specifications, and supporting documentation to improve consistent understanding and use of data.\nSupport data analysis and reporting associated with applicable regulatory requirements.\nParticipate in cross-functional initiatives supporting broader enterprise data governance strategies and priorities.\nServe as a central point of coordination for moderately complex remediation efforts and provide clear communication and management reporting to stakeholders and experienced leaders.\nLead project teams and provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.\nRequired Qualifications:\n4+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience working with Commercial Banking and Lending data, with exposure to platforms such as iHUB, AFS, LIQ, AIMS, CHOICE, LUCAS, WCDIR, WCIS, PBC, or LVT.\nStrong understanding of data quality, data governance, metadata, data controls, and data integrity practices.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing effective management reporting and PowerPoint presentations.\nRegulatory reporting experience such as FR Y-14, FR Y-9C, Basel, FFIEC, FR 2052a, or BSA/AML is a plus.\nJob Expectations:\nApply strong domain expertise and data, business, and process analysis to support effective solution design and informed decision-making.\nConsult with business and data stakeholders to understand data needs, risks, and quality expectations within the assigned area of responsibility.\nWork effectively across business and technology teams in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.\nPosting End Date:\n26 Nov 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.\nWe Value Equal Opportunity\nWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
