Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.\n In this role, you will:\nProvide support for processing new collections, payments, trade acceptances and tracing outstanding items.\nProvide critical operational support for Commercial and Standby Letters of Credit (LCs) within the Commercial Banking Middle Office. \nResponsibilities include reviewing and processing letters of credit, onboarding new clients, collaborating with key business partners such as Relationship Managers, Underwriters, and LC Processing teams, resolving client inquiries and issues, ensuring adherence to strong operational controls, and delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality service to both internal stakeholders and clients.\nSupport performance of less experienced staff and overall effectiveness of team.\nProvide all letter of credit services to customers.\nPerform complex services including opening letter of credits, processing payments and informing customers of discrepancies\nAssist with distributing, reviewing work, training and guiding less experienced staff\nProvide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to less experienced individuals\nProcess complex, non-standard and time sensitive letter of credits\nCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals\nInteract with internal customers\nReceive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements\nRequired Qualifications:\n2+ years of Trade Services support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.\nDesired Qualifications:\nKnowledge of UCP 600 and IPS98.\nExperience with Standby Letters of Credit including onboarding client, liaising with front office and the processing team.\nExperience with Documentary letters of Credit.\nKnowledge of Trade Finance products in general.\nJob Expectations:\nSchedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p\nThis position offers a Hybrid work schedule\nThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship\nLocation:\n1525 W WT Harris Blvd CHARLOTTE, NC 28262\nPosting End Date:\n28 Oct 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.\nWe Value Equal Opportunity\nWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
