This position within the FTS (File Transmission Services) group will be responsible for file transmission management activities involving internal and external customers for a large Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead the design, implementation, onboarding, and support of secure managed file transfer solutions for internal applications, external customers, vendors, and business partners\nArchitect and maintain enterprise file transfer platforms, including SFTP, Connect:Direct, Axway Secure Transport, Secure Proxy, and related technologies\nServe as a technical consultant for file transfer architecture, providing guidance on connectivity patterns, authentication methods, encryption standards, and onboarding requirements\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex file transfer, routing, encryption, certificate, and connectivity issues across distributed environments\nCollaborate with Information Security, Network Engineering, Identity and Access Management, Operations, and Engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions\nDrive automation, self-service, and provisioning initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance the customer experience\nEnsure compliance with enterprise risk, governance, audit, regulatory, and security requirements related to managed file transfer services\nLead incident response, problem management, root cause analysis, and service restoration activities to ensure high availability and operational stability\nDevelop, maintain, and enforce technical standards, operational procedures, documentation, and support runbooks for file transfer services\nMentor and develop engineering talent while contributing to modernization efforts involving cloud technologies, API integrations, automation platforms, and next-generation file transfer capabilities\nRequired Qualifications:\n4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education\n2+ years of experience supporting multiple file transfer protocols - FTPS, SFTP, NDM, HTTPS\n2+ years with a role requiring customer communication via phone and email\n Desired Qualifications:\nExperience supporting Linux and/or Windows server platforms\nExperience troubleshooting network connectivity, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and proxy-related issues\nKnowledge of secure authentication and encryption technologies including SSH, TLS/SSL, certificates, and public key infrastructure (PKI)\nExperience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Shell scripting, or similar technologies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and operational excellence\nJob Expectations:\nThis position offers a hybrid work schedule\nThis position does not offer visa sponsorship\nParticipate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required\nPosting End Date:\n30 Oct 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.\nWe Value Equal Opportunity\nWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
