In this role, you will support the monitoring, operation, and maintenance of critical technology platforms and services. You will work closely with technology teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while ensuring adherence to operational processes and service-level commitments.\nAs a member of the Mission Control organization, you will contribute to operational excellence by monitoring service health, coordinating incident resolution activities, supporting change implementations, and helping maintain operational documentation and procedures. This role offers opportunities to build expertise in production support, observability, incident management, and automation while contributing to the reliability and resilience of Wells Fargo's technology environment.\nIn this role, you will:\nMonitor production applications, infrastructure, and platform services using enterprise monitoring and observability tools.\nAcknowledge, triage, and coordinate incidents within established service-level targets.\nPerform initial troubleshooting and impact assessment to determine appropriate escalation and resolution paths.\nWork with application, infrastructure, platform, vendor, and support teams to restore services and resolve production issues.\nPerform system, application, batch, and platform health checks using approved monitoring procedures and tools.\nAnalyze alerts, logs, performance metrics, and operational data to identify potential service issues.\nSupport change deployments and post-implementation validation activities to ensure service stability.\nMaintain accurate incident records, troubleshooting notes, escalation details, and operational documentation.\nCreate and update runbooks, knowledge articles, operational procedures, and support documentation.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements and automation of repetitive operational activities.\nParticipate in Business Continuity Planning exercises, Command Centre activities, and high-volume event support.\nContribute to operational reporting, trend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service reliability and customer experience.\nRequired Qualifications:\n2+ years of Systems Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education\nExperience within a Mission Control, Command Center, Event Management, or Major Incident Management environment.\nStrong knowledge of ITIL Service Management practices, including Incident, Event, Problem, and Change Management.\nExperience leading service restoration efforts for large-scale application and infrastructure outages.\nStrong experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, DownDetector, Healthscope, Grafana, or similar technologies.\nProven ability to perform incident triage, impact assessment, escalation management, and cross-functional coordination during critical production incidents.\nJob Expectations:\nImprove service stability through proactive monitoring, observability, and event management.\nDrive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and accelerate issue detection and resolution.\nCoordinate effectively across technology teams to minimize customer and business impact during outages.\nPosting End Date:\n27 Oct 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.\nWe Value Equal Opportunity\nWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
