This role is responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and enhancing the voice technologies that enable our trading and capital markets businesses to operate efficiently and securely. The ideal candidate will help deliver highly available, resilient, and compliant communication solutions, working closely with infrastructure, network, and business teams to support critical trading operations while driving platform modernization, operational excellence, and an exceptional end-user experience in a fast-paced financial services environment.\n In this role, you will:\nServe as the senior technical lead for Wells Fargo's global Trader Voice environment.\nDefine the strategic roadmap for trader communications platforms, including voice turret, intercom, recording, and voice infrastructure technologies.\nLead architecture and engineering efforts supporting trading floor voice communications and regulated voice recording solutions.\nDevelop technology standards, lifecycle management strategies, and resiliency requirements for business-critical voice environments.\nPartner with Trading, Compliance, Risk, Information Security, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.\nDrive modernization initiatives involving cloud-enabled voice services, SIP technologies, and next-generation communications platforms.\nLead technical assessments, vendor evaluations, and proof-of-concept activities.\nProvide guidance to engineering teams supporting: Trading turrets SIP infrastructure Session Border Controllers (SBCs) Voice recording platforms Microsoft Teams Voice Enterprise telephony systems\nDesign and implement highly available disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.\nEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements relating to communications retention, surveillance, and recordkeeping.\nProvide executive-level technical consultation and recommendations on strategic voice initiatives.\nMentor engineers and drive engineering best practices across the organization.\nLead major incident response activities related to trader communications infrastructure.\nDrive continuous improvement efforts focused on stability, resiliency, and user experience.\nCollaborate with global technology teams across multiple geographic regions.\nPresent technical strategy and engineering recommendations to executive leadership.\nRequired Qualifications:\n7+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience with engineering solutions for IPC and Cloud 9 turret platforms\nExperience with compliance recording solutions.\nKnowledge of: Verba and Verint voice recording platforms\nMicrosoft Teams Voice certification and enterprise deployment experience.\nExperience with Azure-based voice architectures.\nFinancial industry trading floor support experience.\nKnowledge of operational risk and regulatory compliance requirements related to electronic communications.\nExperience managing strategic vendor relationships and service providers.\nJob Expectations:\nParticipate in after-hours support during critical incidents.\nPosting End Date:\n19 Oct 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.\nWe Value Equal Opportunity\nWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
