As an Accountant, you will be based in Luanda, Angola, but you will also collaborate with international finance colleagues from across the globe, including the headquarters in Denmark. \n\n The position \n As an Accountant, you will be reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Africa. Your responsibilities will include accounts payable, treasury, and handling of financial reporting and audit assignments.\n Key responsibilities \n Accounts Payables:\n Invoice processing: Receive and review supplier invoices. Verify that invoices match purchase orders (POs) and goods receipt records. Ensure correct coding to general ledger accounts and cost centers. Enter invoices into the ERP/accounting system.\n Payment Processing: Prepare payment runs (bank transfers, checks, etc.). Ensure payments are made according to agreed payment terms. Prioritize urgent or critical supplier payments.\n Process employee expense reimbursements where applicable.\n Vendor Management: Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.\n Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances\n Other Responsibilities: \n Handle the annual external audit responsibilities of the company \n Maintain accurate month-end records by examining all financial statements \n Assist the top-level management in making critical business decisions by providing accurate financial assessments \n Comply with financial policies and regulations\n\nPerfil\nThe preferred candidate has the following profile: \n At least 2 years of significant work experience \n Fluent in Portuguese and English \n A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Accounting, Finance or Economics. \n Demonstrated excellence in written, verbal and presentation skills \n Proficient in the use of Office \n Highly-motivated, results-driven self-starter who needs little supervision in his/her work to achieve district goals\n Strong understanding of accounting aspects like balance sheets, cash flow management, business forecast, and profitability\n Ability to interact with the company's management and other departments in a clear and concise manner \n Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills \n\n What we offer\n Working with Welltec® means challenges and personal development in a demanding work environment.
