Interns will apply their analytical and communication skills while supporting both internal and external relationship management, a cornerstone of Welltower’s development strategy and industry leadership.\nThe Development team is responsible for:\nPartner with the Investments team to analyze development opportunities at the pre-acquisition stage.\nAssist in overseeing active deals through turnover.\nSupport the management of internal and external partnerships.\nBenchmark key information to compare and evaluate future deals.\nContribute to the underwriting of development opportunities.\nAssist in tracking and reviewing development budgets.\nHelp standardize and align information provided by partners.\nSupport the analysis of partner performance.\nParticipate in site and land visits, as well as market assessments.\nAssist in the selection process for contractors and consultants.\nHelp educate Investment team members on the development process.\nDevelop an understanding of market supply and demand fundamentals.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nOTHER DUTIES\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of this employee for this job.
