The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation with experience in fund accounting, real estate private equity experience, and a commitment to high-quality reporting and communication.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nMaintain property-level, fund-level, and investor performance calculations, including IRR, equity multiple, carry, and other fund/investment-level metrics.\nPrepare quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes, investor reports, performance summaries, capital account statements, and NAV statements.\nResponsible for completing various aspects of fund-level accounting, including general ledger maintenance, management fee calculations, expense allocations, and the consolidation process in both U.S. GAAP and on a fair value basis.\nAssist with the data flow for third-party valuation reports and support integration into fund-level reporting.\nSupport the independent fund administrator in the preparation of their work product, ensuring accuracy of information provided.\nPartner with other accounting teams, investments, FP&A, treasury, asset management, tax, and capital markets teams to source, validate, reconcile, and report financial and operating data.\nSupport the investments team in preparing investment and fund reporting models.\nEnsure timely, accurate preparation of side letter reporting obligations, including completion of templates and aggregation of legal, ESG, and system data across teams.\nBuild fund-level cash flow forecasts and track balance sheets to support future distribution planning.\nCollaborate on lender reporting workflows, including borrower completion certificates, disbursement requests, and insurance documentation.\nCollaborate with valuation agents, external auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and other third parties to ensure alignment of fund reporting which includes assisting in the fund audits.\nContribute to ongoing process improvements and automation initiatives for fund and investor reporting, including capital account allocations and distribution process setup.\nPerform other duties as required\nOTHER DUTIES\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of this employee for this job.
