This role requires expertise in building scalable data pipelines, managing cloud-based data warehousing solutions, and implementing data quality frameworks. The Senior Data Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead data engineering projects to completion, and establish best practices for data management across the organization.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ELT data pipelines to support time-series based analytics and reporting needs\nArchitect and implement data models and solutions in Snowflake to ensure optimal performance and accessibility\nBuild and manage AWS-based infrastructure\nImplement and maintain data orchestration workflows using industry-standard tools to automate data processing\nEstablish data quality frameworks and automated testing procedures to ensure data integrity and reliability\nDeploy CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure to enable efficient, reliable, and repeatable deployments\nCollaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions\nEstablish data engineering best practices and standards\nCreate comprehensive documentation for data processes, models, and infrastructure\nImplement data governance practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements\nProactively identify and resolve data-related issues and bottlenecks\nTECH STACK\nCloud Platforms: AWS\nData Warehousing: Snowflake\nOrchestration Tools: Airflow\nData Transformation: dbt-core\nProgramming Languages: Python, SQL, Node\nCI/CD Tools: Gitlab Pipelines\nVersion Control: Git\nInfrastructure as Code: Terraform\nMonitoring & Observability: Datadog\nOTHER DUTIES\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of this employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.\nTRAVEL\nMinimal out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related technical field\n5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based data infrastructure\nStrong Proficiency our tech stack or similar technologies\nExperience implementing and managing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes\nKnowledge of data modeling, database design, and optimization techniques\nExperience with CI/CD practices for data infrastructure\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams\nEmployment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and verification of employment, education, and other credentials relevant to the position. \nCOMPENSATION\nSalaries may vary by location.
