Even if you only meet some of the criteria, we’d love to hear from you.\nAbout the opportunity:\nIn this role, you’ll oversees the day-to-day operations of our Youth Community Living Support Services (YCLSS) program at the Local Health District Level, focusing on providing day to day supervision and coaching to YLCSS staff that ensures the delivery of high quality, safe, effective and evidence-based supports, while also ensuring that program governance, budgetary and contractual requirements are met under the direction of the Program Coordinator.\nYou will take a lead role in developing stakeholder relationships while carrying a small YCLSS caseload, working alongside participants, providing intensive support to address key development areas that support transition into adulthood.\nKey responsibilities:\nCoaching and leading team members in the use of innovative and supportive practices\nProviding supervision and reflective practice \nEnsuring high quality, safe and effective recovery orientated practice is being delivered consistently\nManagement of the LHD caseload, including participation on the regional selection panel\nEnsuring the timely entry and integrity of information entered into our client management system\nDeveloping and maintaining regional partnerships, stakeholder relationships, especially the relationship with the Local Health District\nEnd to end management of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, development, end of employment and succession planning activities\nThe implementation of training and other staff development strategies\nReporting for quality, contractual and evaluation purposes\nTo be successful in this role:\nTertiary Qualifications in Mental Health or Community Services, the Social Sciences or related discipline\nUnderstanding of mental health issues and at 1 year program management experience\nCurrent valid Driver’s License and the ability to undertake travel for the role.\nCurrent Working with Children Check and Satisfactory National Police Records Check.\nNDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (free module)\nRight to Work within Australia.\nAbout Us\nWellways connects people, strengthens families, and transforms communities for individuals of all ages experiencing disabilities or challenges to their social and emotional wellbeing.
