Hotel in a positive and engaging manner across all social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.\nCollaborate with the Social Content Specialist and Social Media Coordinator to ideate content, set social media goals, and create visual and written communication that connects with target audiences.\nActively engage with West Edmonton Mall and Fantasyland Hotel’s online community by monitoring and responding to guest comments, identifying high-quality user generated content, and monitoring DM responses to ensure accuracy.\nUtilize CRM tool to schedule, monitor, and provide analytics/reporting for social media posts across multiple accounts.\nWrite engaging, on-brand copy that connects with target audiences while ensuring factual and grammatical accuracy.\nReview social media posts for accuracy and brand alignment, monitor and remove any inappropriate comments in accordance with West Edmonton Mall and Fantasyland Hotel’s social media guidelines.\nAttend West Edmonton Mall and Fantasyland Hotel events, including in the evenings and weekends as needed, to conduct live coverage and collect photo/video content for future use.\nStay up to date on the latest social media trends, innovations, and best practices to further enhance West Edmonton Mall and Fantasyland Hotel’s social media presence.\nMaintain strong knowledge of West Edmonton Mall and Fantasyland Hotel’s offerings and experiences to serve as an ambassador for the property and provide accurate information to guests.\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nMinimum 1 to 2 years of experience with social media marketing and management.\nDegree or certificate in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline is an asset.\nIn-depth knowledge of social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.\nExperience using social media management and content creation tools such as Hootsuite, Asana, Monday.com, Canva, and CapCut.\nExperience with digital photography, video production, and photo editing software is an asset.\nExcellent multi-tasking, organizational and critical thinking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever evolving environment.\nStrong content creation skills, including photo, video, and written communication.\nSelf-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to ideate and solve problems effectively.\nTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:\nThis is a full-time position that requires flexible availability on evenings and weekends.\nThis is a salaried position that depends on experience and qualifications.\nThis position qualifies for West Edmonton Mall’s Four-Day Work Week Program following the successful completion of a minimum three-month probation
