Waterpark Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the World Waterpark including the supervision of Waterpark staff and providing guests with exceptional customer service. \nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupervising and coordinating Slide Attendant I and II, Lifeguards, Food and Beverage and World Waterpark Guest Services.\nEnsure that staff are at their appropriate workstations following all World Waterpark expectations, policies and procedures.\nDirectly assist Aquatics, Food & Beverage, SkyFlyer Zipline and World Waterpark Guest Service staff in performance of all duties as needed.\nPerforming administrative duties such as new employee onboarding, accident investigations, employee performance appraisals and employee performance corrections.\nEnsure effective communication with staff related to West Edmonton Mall and World Waterpark programs and initiatives.\nResponding to guest concerns and special requests, while utilizing exceptional guest service and conflict resolution skill.\nAlways presenting a professional appearance and attitude and enforce safety rules and regulations.\nBe actively involved in creating and maintaining a safe environment for all staff and guests.\nResponding to major and required minor first aid situations to assist or monitor the staff providing first aid.\nMonitor World Waterpark cleanliness and request cleaning support as required.\nAct as a role model for other staff.\nAssist with implementing staff training programs and procedures.\nOther Supervisory duties as required.\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nA minimum of one (1) year of lifeguarding experience at World Waterpark.\nMust have a current Intermediate First Aid, National Lifeguard Pool, National Lifeguard Waterpark, Oxygen Administration, and ProServe.\nPrevious Supervisory experience in an environment that requires strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures with a large staff and guest capacity.\nExperience working successfully with a variety of employees, including mentoring employees new to the workforce.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by team building and motivational abilities.\nPrevious guest service skills and the ability to always foster positive interactions with the public complemented by strong conflict resolution skills.\nSafety minded with the ability to stay calm in stressful situations.\nTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:\nThis is a part-time position that requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. \nAbility to work in a hot and humid environment and near water and chlorine. \nMust be able to pass a basic security
