Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has made us a beloved fixture in the communities we serve.\nLocation:\nThe role is based within our Bakery at The Wenzel's Head Office, Sunley House Olds Approach, Watford, WD18 9TB.\nPay & Hours:\nFor our Bread Baker roles, we offer a competitive pay of £13.50 - £14.50 per hour, depending on experience, working 35 hours per week over 5 days, Monday - Sunday. Previous experience in bread production is required.\nExperience in preparing and baking a broad range of bread, buns and rolls to the Company’s highest standards of quality.\nKnowledge and previous experience as a baker (Night Shift), including:\nStrong knowledge of breads, including artisan bread baking techniques.\n\nAbility to prepare and handle dough, including mixing, proofing, and shaping.\n\nProficiency in oven work and baking to required standards.\n\nExperience with bakery machinery, such as bread moulders, roll machinery, and doughnut fryers, is preferred.\n\nPrevious hand-moulding experience is an advantage.\n\nUnderstanding of food safety, hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations in a bakery environment.\n\nAbility to clean and maintain stationary machinery and equipment used in daily production.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.\n\nPhysical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy ingredients, and work in a fast-paced environment.\n\nNext steps\nIf you feel you are the right fit for Wenzel’s and have the required experience for this role, please click “apply now” to be directed to our recruitment portal.
