This role will ensure that data is trusted, compliant, well-managed, and AI-ready across the organization.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong governance foundations with practical experience supporting AI use cases, responsible AI frameworks, and data lifecycle management in complex environments.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nAI-READY DATA GOVERNANCE STRATEGY\nSupport the definition and implementation of data governance framework aligned to AI and advanced analytics initiatives\n\nHelp standards for high-quality, well-documented, ethically sourced data suitable for AI model training and deployment\n\nPartner with AI/ML teams to ensure governance requirements are embedded into model development lifecycles\n\nRESPONSIBLE AI & RISK OVERSIGHT\nAssist in applying responsible AI guidelines, including practices related to data quality, transparency, and risk awareness\n\nCollaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and ethical standards\n\nDATA STEWARDSHIP & OWNERSHIP\nSupport the definition of clear data ownership and stewardship roles across business domains within the region\n\nHelp enable domain teams to manage their data as strategic AI assets\n\nContribute to regional governance councils and working groups to help define governance rules and practices across the business\n\nPRIVACY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE\nHelp ensure AI datasets comply with data privacy regulations and internal security standards\n\nSupport oversight of sensitive data handling, anonymization, and usage monitoring\n\nSupport data retention and lifecycle management policies\n\nCHANGE MANAGEMENT & ENABLEMENT\nDrive adoption of governance practices through training, communication, and tooling\n\nPromote a culture of data literacy and AI accountability\n\nAct as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on AI data risks and opportunities\n\nQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS\nBachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field\n\n7+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or enterprise data strategy\n\nExperience supporting AI/ML, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives\n\nStrong understanding of data lifecycle management, metadata, lineage, and quality frameworks\n\nKnowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)\n\nExperience implementing governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Purview, etc.)\n\nPREFERRED\nExperience with AI governance frameworks or model risk management\n\nFamiliarity with MLOps, model monitoring, and AI audit requirements\n\nUnderstanding of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data ecosystems\n\nCertifications such as CDMP, DCAM, DAMA, or AI governance credentials\n\nPlease note: This position does not offer sponsorship for employment visas.
