# Senior Platform Engineer

Reference: JHB000969-AS-1 One of South Africa's Banking Giants is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help reimagine how software moves from commit to production in an AI-first world. Duties & Responsibilities Their focus is extending their Internal Developer Platform to support AI-generated software, removing bottlenecks that slow engineers down, and building the guardrails, automation and governance needed to safely accelerate delivery at scale. You'll be building platform capabilities that influence the day-to-day experience of 1,000+ engineers, shaping how software is built, tested, secured and released across the organisation. Working across GitHub, Kubernetes, AWS, EKS, Terraform, GitOps and CI/CD, you'll help challenge traditional assumptions about software delivery and engineer the next generation of developer workflows.
