The successful candidate will contribute to the development and enhancement of a strategic, custom-built platform supporting activities in a global capital-markets environment.\nThis role combines hands-on software engineering with close collaboration across technology and business teams. The developer will help deliver reliable, scalable and maintainable solutions while contributing to the platform’s ongoing modernization and operational resilience.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test and maintain features.\nBuild high-quality, scalable and maintainable software using Java and C++.\nParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and technical design through testing, deployment and production support.\nCollaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA teams, developers and production-support stakeholders across regions.\nContribute to architecture discussions, technical reviews and code reviews.\nInvestigate defects and production issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable fixes.\nImprove application performance, reliability, observability and maintainability.\nContribute to CI/CD practices, release activities and continuous improvement within the development team.\nParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies and communicate progress, risks and dependencies clearly.\nRequired Qualifications\nAt least 5 years of professional software-development experience in complex enterprise environments.\nStrong hands-on development experience with Java and C++.\nSolid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and software-engineering best practices.\nExperience with SQL and relational databases.\nExperience working in Linux or Unix environments.\nExperience designing, integrating or supporting distributed systems and APIs.\nAbility to write clean, testable and well-documented code.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExperience working in Agile delivery teams.\nProfessional fluency in English, both written and spoken.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in investment banking, capital markets or financial-services technology.\nKnowledge of Prime Services, Prime Brokerage, equities, financing, securities lending, clearing or the trade lifecycle.\nExperience with messaging technologies, event-driven architectures or high-volume transaction-processing systems.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, DevOps practices and containerized environments.\nExperience supporting business-critical trading, risk, financing or post-trade applications.\nExposure to global delivery models and follow-the-sun
