You’ll build backend features, improve our infrastructure, and own what you ship from design to production.\nTasks\nWhat you’ll do\nBuild backend services and APIs for campaigns, creator matching, marketplace operations, and payments.\nDesign clear domain models, database schemas, and service boundaries.\nBuild reliable background jobs that handle concurrency, retries, and failures correctly.\nContribute to our Web, Android, and iOS frontend when features require end-to-end ownership.\nImprove deployments, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, backups, and recovery.\nDebug issues across application code, databases, infrastructure, and third-party APIs.\nMake pragmatic architectural decisions while continuing to ship quickly.\nUse AI coding agents as a core part of your daily development workflow.\nRequirements\nWhat we’re looking for:\nStrong backend engineering experience in production environments.\nExcellent knowledge of SQL, relational databases, transactions, locking, and data modelling.\nExperience with Docker, Linux, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD.\nA good understanding of queues, scheduled jobs, APIs, networking, security, and observability.\nConfidence reasoning about concurrency, idempotency, partial failures, and recovery.\nStrong debugging skills across the full system.\nStartup experience or a strong bias toward ownership and execution.\nGood product judgment and an instinct for avoiding unnecessary complexity.\nExperience using AI coding agents to plan, implement, test, review, and document software.\nThe ability to critically review, iterate on, and improve AI-generated code until it is high-quality and production-ready.\nOur stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Docker, Linux, and Hack. Experience with every technology is not required, we care more about strong fundamentals and the ability to learn.\nAI-native engineering:\nUsing AI agents is a requirement for this role, not an optional productivity tool.\nWe expect you to use them throughout the development process: exploring unfamiliar code, planning changes, implementing features, writing tests, investigating failures, reviewing work, and maintaining documentation.\nThis does not mean accepting generated code without understanding it. You remain responsible for architecture, security, correctness, and production outcomes.
