We’re passionate about providing healthcare professionals the most valuable and complete solutions to improve hospital efficiency and enhance patient care.\nOverview\nPosition Summary:\nPlans and controls inventory of finished goods for warehouses/distribution centers and manufacturing plants to meet sales and distribution demand. Analyzes inventory levels, planned production, and sales forecasts. Develops/maintains inputs to computerized inventory management system.\nResponsibilities\nKey Accountabilities:\nUnder general supervision, plans and coordinates inventory replenishment with strategic partners \nProvides manufacturing plants with forecast requirements, requisite purchase orders and inter-plant orders.\nAnalyzes inventory levels and inventory positioning to ensure compliance.\nResponsible for meeting annual goals for inventory levels of finished goods product.\nProjects and minimizes scrap exposure by identifying issues and proposing solutions.\nCoordinates shipments to strategic partners, including drop shipments, replenishment, and lot- management.\nMonitors forecast and safety stock levels, and adjusts accordingly.\nMaintains frequent communications with strategic partners on a variety of subjects, including order information, material availability, recalls, and shipping issues. \nCoordinates purchase orders and sales orders for drop shipments to customers.\nWorks closely with International and Business Administration to support customer base effectively. \nReviews stocking orders with strategic partners for product availability and scheduled ship dates.\nAllocates shelf life products for shipment to ensure that they satisfy the contract minimum dating requirement.\nProjects monthly shipments to strategic partners in terms of products, quantities, and dollars.\nCoordinates shipments with IL shipping operations. \nDevelops and maintains inputs to computerized inventory management system.\nReviews and adjusts, when necessary, forecast information at the finished goods level.\nCommunicates with marketing, manufacturing, and European distribution (when required) to introduce new products into inventory. \nCoordinates material transfers from manufacturing to distribution locations, ensuring that quantities do not exceed total demand and that the material has adequate shelf life remaining to meet the needs of our customers and minimize company exposure to potential scrap.\nPrepares and distributes numerous weekly/monthly status reports relating to backorders, reagent planning, and similar subjects.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\nBudget managed (if applicable): N/A\nInternal Networking/Key Relationships:\nTo be determined based on department needs\nSkills & Capabilities:\nProficiency with computers, including spreadsheet, database, and word processing programs\nRequires courtesy and tact to ensure effective and efficient solutions\nThe annual salary range Werfen reasonably expects to pay for the position is $85,000 to $105,000.
