We’re passionate about providing healthcare professionals the most valuable and complete solutions to improve hospital efficiency and enhance patient care.\nOverview\nPosition Summary:\nDevelop and execute a comprehensive program to monitor and manage microbiological control across the manufacturing processes. Identify and drive improvements to equipment, facilities, and procedures to ensure quality standards are met.\nThe annual base salary range for this role is currently $100,000 to $130,000. Individual employee compensation will ultimately depend on factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and particular business needs.\nThis role is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plan retirement benefits with an employer match, as well as paid vacation and sick leave.\nResponsibilities\nKey Accountabilities:\nDevelop a systematic program of microbial control in the facility which includes but is not limited to:\nDevelopment of a cleaning and sanitation program for the plant and equipment.\nDevelop a testing regimen which ensures tight control over the microbial/fungal load of the plant and equipment.\nDevelop and implement a similar program with key suppliers where necessary.\nResponsible for day-to-day microbiological testing. \nPlans and conducts advanced scientific assignments requiring leadership and mastery of specialized techniques. \nApplies scientific method and experimental design in problem solving.\nUses scientific expertise to provide solutions to problems which require technical expertise.\nApplies expertise in ingenuous and creative ways. \nDefines mid-to-long term objectives.\nAble to implement plan to accomplish objectives. \nMay direct the work of other scientists. \nMaintains accurate and precise documentation.\nWrites reports and technical summaries and may represent company to outside organizations.\nMaintains comprehensive knowledge of scientific literature and industry best practices in relation of the biology of microorganisms, their sanitization from production processes/ equipment as well as the field of preservatives applicable to IVD products. \nHandles broad assignments and objectives under minimum direction to accomplish short- term goals. \nMaintains work in a GMP environment. \nPerforms other related duties, as position may require, at the direction of your manager.\nBudget Managed (if applicable).
