We’re passionate about providing healthcare professionals the most valuable and complete solutions to improve hospital efficiency and enhance patient care.\nOverview\nFacilitates and leads production processes in support of the Production Supervisor or Manager, in-cluding a variety of tasks associated with the Prep Room, Vialing, Labeling and Packaging of Werfen products.\nResponsibilities\nKey Accountabilities\nSupervises processes to ensure compliance with Immucor SOPs and applicable Regulatory Agencies.\nFacilitates workflow on the production floor to ensure satisfactory issue resolution and es-calates as required to the next level. Generate work orders for equipment in the Trackwise system.\nPromptly performs Initial Investigations of deviations within the quality system. Creates a teamwork environment for the staff in support of management direction and decisions.\nDemonstrate behaviors supportive of personal and professional growth of self and co-workers. Support project teams and represent the department as required. Drives im-provement at the shop floor level consistent with departmental metrics. Maintains a neat, clean, and orderly work environment.\nComplete all training and qualifications requirements. Own departmental projects and im-provement initiatives. Lead by example on the production floor by executing production activities and coaching technicians on the proper SOPs and practices.\nLead the shift meetings and production activities in the absence of the supervisor and de-partmental expectations.\nCommunicates line status from shift to shift to ensure all safety, quality, and efficiency ob-jectives are achieved. Demonstrate supportive behaviors toward co-workers across shifts, departments, and job descriptions.\nPerforms production operations (Prep Room and Labeling) according to department proce-dures, specifications, or work instructions and completes tasks within Instructions-defined time frames.\nAlways Show the utmost commitment to Quality and Safety.\nMust be able to work irregular hours as necessary to meet production schedules.\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these\nWorks closely with other production (manufacturing) members, as well as quality control, quality assurance, customer service, shipping, sales, and marketing staff.\nQualifications\nMinimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:\nHigh School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent.\nOne year of experience in a GMP Manufacturing environment preferred.\nAbility to speak, read, and write English.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.\nSkills & Capabilities:\nAbility to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.\nAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
