We’re passionate about providing healthcare professionals the most valuable and complete solutions to improve hospital efficiency and enhance patient care.\nOverview\nPosition Summary:\nIn this Laboratory Automation Systems Engineering the applicant will be expected to generate and manage testable system requirements, manage a risk database based on patient safety, and oversee integration, verification, and validation activities while interacting on a cross functional team.\nResponsibilities\nKey Accountabilities:\nHas experience working in Laboratory Automation for medical devices. \nHas experience running verification projects, including managing system requirements and product risk. \nHas experience working in a Linux based operating system \nActs as an individual contributor, core team or technical lead for a specific project. \nAccountable for the completion of assigned deliverables in accordance with approved schedules. \nAuthors documentation and participates in activities in support of design control \nIndependently plans, performs & prioritizes tasks that are moderately complex in nature, in alignment with corporate goals. \nAnalyzes and interprets data, identifying trends and formulating the next steps, if required by the function. \nLeads, designs and/or develops one or more of the following: new test methods, specifications, technical apparatus, software and processes for moderately complex components and functions. \nIdentifies product defects and recognizes outliers in results. Can explain and document product defects and their impact. \nEffectively communicates complex technical information to a cross-functional team in the form of documentation, presentations or technical summaries. \nTechnical expertise in a least 1 area. \nProvides technical guidance to and/or supervision of other group members and cross-functional technical teams. Able to mentor others. \nProvides technical support for or leads investigations in support of development and/or on-market activities. \nIndependently generates predictable schedules for activities related to assigned projects. \nNice to have:\nExperience coding in one or more language. \nExperience with computer networking \nQualifications\nMinimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or a related field\nExperience:\nEight years of product development or relevant experience\nFour to six years of product development or relevant experience for advanced degrees\nFor internal candidate promotion: Demonstrated proficiency in meeting all competencies of current level and acceptable performance history may be used in lieu of experience\nIn vitro medical device experience highly desired.\nAdditional Skills/Knowledge:\nLanguage: Proficiency in English language required\nInternational Mobility:\nRequired: No\nTravel R equirements:\nSome domestic and international travel may be required.\nThe annual base salary range for this role is currently $110K to $140K range.
