We’re passionate about providing healthcare professionals the most valuable and complete solutions to improve hospital efficiency and enhance patient care.\nOverview\nPosition Summary:\nUnder minimal supervision, perform software development activities including software requirements, design, implementation, and integration.\nResponsibilities\nKey Accountabilities\nEssential Functions:\nParticipates as an active member on a development team; This includes participating in requirements review, design reviews, code reviews, test case reviews, and team meetings.\nParticipates as an active member on a project development team; This includes requirements change control, defect management, risk analysis, and release management\nCreates/Maintains software requirement/functional specifications\nIdentifies interfaces between software components and/or hardware\nCreates/Maintains software (component) design documentation\nCreates/Maintains software source code that adheres to design documentation\nPerforms unit testing and/or code reviews as per project policy\nPerforms integration testing to ensure software functions within application and with devices\nEvaluates, investigates, and implements fixes to assigned software defects\nEvaluates, investigates, and implements assigned software change proposals\nKey Relationships:\nTo be determined based on department needs, to include interactions such as:\nProvides level of effort for assigned software activities\nTracks personal estimates over time in order to improve accuracy\nEffectively communicates technical information to a multidisciplinary team in the form of documentation, presentations and technical summaries.\nMakes recommendations or suggestions for department improvements\nAbility to work in a team environment of software developers and testers\nSkills & Capabilities:\nThe ideal candidate for this position will exhibit the following skills and capabilities:\nStrong written and oral communications skills\nAbility to use software engineering tools: configuration, requirements, and defect management\nAbility to operate instrumentation\nQualifications\nMinimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:\nEducation:\n Associates Degree plus typically 4 to 10 years of related experience or Bachelor’s Degree plus typically 4 to 8 years of related experience or Master’s Degree plus typically 2 to 6 years of related experience or waiver based on experience.
