Before you apply, please read through our Cultural Manifesto\nAbout the role:\nJOB TITLE: Finance Accountant\nLOCATION: Milan (Hybrid)\nTYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent, full time\nSALARY RANGE: €25,000 - €30,000 gross/year\nSeniority: mid to junior\n\nWhat you will do\nPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide a clear picture of WeRoad’s financial health.\n\nManage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections, ensuring smooth cash flow management.\n\nSupport budgeting and forecasting, analyzing variances to inform strategic decision-making.\n\nEnsure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards, while supporting external audits.\n\nSupport identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline accounting operations.\n\nPartner with teams across the organization to deliver financial insights that support business initiatives.\n\nWhat are we looking for?\nMinimum of 1 or max 2 years in accounting or finance, with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus.\n\nTechnical Skills: Excel proficiency, knowledge of accounting software, and familiarity with ERP systems (Business Central is a strong plus). Solid knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC); IFRS knowledge is a plus.\n\nAnalytical & Problem-Solving: Data-driven, detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to solving problems.\n\nGood written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in a simple, clear way to non-financial stakeholders.\n\nCollaborative mindset, proactive and accountable, flexible and adaptable in a fast-changing environment, curious and eager to grow in a scale-up.\n\nHigh level of English, written and spoken.\n\nYou will love working at WeRoad if\nYou dream big, aim higher, and push yourself beyond limits you didn’t think possible.
