With over 4 million square feet of owned and managed assets and a strong development pipeline, we continue to shape communities across Metro Vancouver.\n\nOur success is built on accountability, adaptability, strong relationships, and treating others according to the Golden Rule, while empowering our employees to do meaningful work and grow their careers.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\n\nFull-Cycle Accounts Payable\nOwn full-cycle accounts payable activities, including reviewing and processing invoices, payment requests, adjustments, and related transactions across multiple entities and projects.\nCoordinate payment runs, manual payments, PAD transactions, and other payment activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.\nMaintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready documentation in support of strong internal controls.\n\nVendor Management & Issue Resolution\nManage vendor onboarding and account maintenance, including compliance verification and required documentation.\nServe as a key point of contact for vendors, building strong working relationships and resolving payment and account inquiries in a timely and professional manner.\nPerform vendor statement reconciliations and investigate complex invoice, payment, and account discrepancies through to resolution.\n\nCross-Functional Partnership\nPartner closely with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Construction Accounting, Preconstruction, Estimating, and other internal teams to keep accounts payable activities moving efficiently.\nBuild strong relationships across the business to support timely approvals, resolve issues, and ensure AP processes run smoothly.\n\nProcess Improvement & Team Support\nIdentify opportunities to streamline AP processes, strengthen controls, and improve overall efficiency and service delivery.\nShare your expertise by providing procedural guidance and support to team members and assisting with onboarding and training when needed.\n\nWHAT YOU BRING\n3 to 5 years of progressive accounts payable or accounting experience, with hands-on responsibility for full-cycle AP.\nPost-secondary education in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or a related discipline.\nStrong knowledge of accounts payable processes, vendor management, reconciliations, and internal controls.\nDemonstrated experience investigating and resolving complex invoice, payment, and vendor account discrepancies.\nExperience supporting multiple entities, cost centres, or projects in a deadline-driven environment.\nProficiency with accounting and ERP systems, with Yardi experience considered an asset.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills, particularly for reconciliation, analysis, and reporting.\nExcellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize competing deadlines.\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence working across different teams and with external vendors.\nA proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nA high level of accuracy, accountability, discretion, and attention to detail.\n\nExperience in construction would be an asset.\n\nEXPECTED COMPENSATION\nAnnual Base Salary: The expected salary range for this role is $60,000-$70,000 per annum.
