We are growing rapidly while maintaining profitability, making this an exciting time to join our Finance team.\nRole Overview:\nAs a Finance Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in keeping WeSki’s day-to-day financial operations running smoothly, accurately, and efficiently.\nThis is a hands-on operational role with a broad scope, covering supplier payments, customer payments, reconciliations, financial controls, and process management. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance Operations while independently managing key processes and ensuring they are handled effectively from start to finish.\nWe’re looking for someone who is comfortable getting into the details, taking ownership of problems, and improving the way things are done. This isn’t a role for someone who simply follows existing processes. We want someone who is curious about how things work, challenges inefficient workflows, and looks for opportunities to use AI, automation, and technology to make our finance operations more efficient and scalable.\nThe role requires a solid understanding of financial processes, but above all, a strong operational mindset and the ability to independently drive tasks and processes from start to finish.\nResponsibilities\nIndependently manage day-to-day finance operations, including supplier payments, customer payments, reconciliations, and related financial processes.\nReview and validate supplier invoices, payment requests, and supporting documentation.\nPerform account and payment reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and follow issues through to resolution.\nMonitor financial activity and proactively identify missing, incorrect, duplicated, or unexpected transactions.\nWork closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment and financial issues quickly and effectively.\nMaintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are properly documented and reflected across the relevant systems.\nManage recurring finance processes from start to finish, ensuring they are completed accurately, on time, and in line with established controls and procedures.\nSupport month-end and other periodic financial activities as needed.\nInvestigate unexpected financial and operational issues, identify root causes, and drive practical solutions through to resolution.\nIdentify inefficiencies, manual processes, and bottlenecks across Finance operations, and proactively improve the way we work.\nLead or support the implementation of automation and AI-based solutions to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency.\nHelp build, standardise, and document scalable finance processes as WeSki continues to grow.\nSupport the wider Finance Operations function and take responsibility for ad hoc finance projects and initiatives as needed.\nRequirements\n3+ years of experience in finance operations, accounts payable/receivebale, accounting, or a similar role.\nSolid understanding of core financial processes, including invoices, payments, reconciliations, and basic accounting principles.\nStrong attention to detail and a consistently high level of accuracy.\nProven ability to independently manage processes from start to finish.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and find practical solutions.\nHighly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nGood Excel / Google Sheets skills and confidence working with financial data.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English.\nA hands-on, proactive approach and willingness to get into the details.\nTechnologically curious and comfortable using AI and automation tools, with an interest in finding smarter and more efficient ways to work.\nAbility to adapt quickly to changing processes, priorities, and business needs.\nAdvantages\nExperience working in a high-growth startup or fast-paced
