And are equally committed to creating a healthier environment and planet through our sustainability efforts.\nJob Summary\nPerforms all maintenance related duties on process and ancillary equipment within the Compounding department, and assist at Molding and HVP process areas as needed.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nComplete preventative maintenance, line clears, and, die changes on all trim presses.\nPerform simple Machinist Duties as needed.\nProvide emergency /unscheduled repairs to equipment as needed based on priorities provided.\nPerform advanced mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs and installation.\nComplete repairs of process and support equipment.\nProvide guidance to team members.\nPLC and computer skills.\nHousekeeping duties as necessary and applicable.\nAssist with designing and installing systems.\nAssist with writing and revising maintenance procedures and produce drawings and wiring diagrams.\nRead and interpret manuals and workorders to perform required maintenance and service to diagnose problems, repair or replace parts.\nWillingness to learn new equipment and processes as required.\nComply with safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.\nPerform other duties as required.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nMaintain and promote a safe and clean work environment throughout the maintenance department.\nInstruct, train, guide and assist other maintenance personnel as needed.\nPerforms other duties as assigned based on business needs.\nConforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.\nExhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required.\nWork Experience\nMinimum 2 years experience industrial maintenance.\nMachine shop experience a plus.\nPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\nMachine shop experience a plus.\nMicrosoft Office.\nUnderstanding of cGMPs.\nAble to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.\nSupport and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target.\nWelding experience preferred.\nAble to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times.\nAble to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.\nTravel Requirements\nNone: No travel required\nPhysical Requirements\nHeavy-Exerting up to 100lbs/45kg of force occasionally and/or up to 50lb/22kg of force frequently, and/or up to 20lbs/9kg of force constantly to move objects.\nAdditional Requirements\nAbility to learn, understand, and remember normal tasks.\nAbility to see and read letters, numbers, characters, or symbols and identify colors.\nMust maintain the ability to work well with others in a variety of situations.\nMust be able to multi-task, work under time constraints, problem solve, and prioritize.\nAbility to make independent and sound judgments.\nUse written and oral communication skills.\nRead and interpret data, information and documents.\nAnalyze and solve problems.\nObserve and interpret situations.\nLearn and apply new information or new skills.\nWork under deadlines with constant interruptions.\nShift\nThis shift is a night shift, 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM 2-2-3-2 schedule.\nWest embraces diversity and equality of opportunity.
