And are equally committed to creating a healthier environment and planet through our sustainability efforts.\nJob Summary\nThe Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for implementing, administering, and supporting enterprise compute, virtualization, backup, and storage platforms.\nThe ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Dell PowerEdge hardware, VMware vSphere 8.x, Dell Avamar, Veeam, and Dell Data Domain in complex, mission-critical environments.\nThis role is focused on implementation, operations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and lifecycle management of infrastructure systems.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nImplement and support Dell PowerEdge server infrastructure.\nDeploy, configure, and administer VMware vSphere 8.x environments including ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, and lifecycle updates.\nImplement and maintain backup solutions using Dell Avamar, Veeam, and Data Domain.\nConfigure and manage Data Domain systems including MTrees, replication, retention policies, garbage collection, and capacity monitoring.\nPerform server builds, hypervisor installations, patching, and firmware upgrades.\nTroubleshoot complex hardware, virtualization, storage, and backup issues.\nExecute disaster recovery procedures and backup restoration activities.\nImplement backup policies and validate successful backup and restore operations.\nMaintain Windows Server environments (on-premises and hybrid integration).\nApply security patches, hardening standards, and vulnerability remediation.\nMaintain operational documentation and update configuration records.\nCoordinate with vendors (Dell, VMware, Veeam) for support and escalations.\nParticipate in On-Call support rotation for critical infrastructure system.\nOthers duties as assigned\n#LI-Hybrid #LI-SM\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree Computer Science required or Bachelor's Degree Information System required\nWork Experience\nMinimum 5 years in the infrastructure Engineering and administering. Managing VMware/EMC Avamar/Data Domain products. requiredPrior experience on the follwowing\n\nExperience on VMware vSphere 8.x (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion).\nCandidate must have experience in administering VMWare vSphere 8.x environments\nExperience installing, configuring, and maintaining Dell PowerEdge servers.\nExperience implementing and managing Avamar, Veeam, and Data Domain backup environments.\nUnderstanding of backup scheduling, retention, replication, and recovery procedures.\nKnowledge of SAN/NAS storage concepts (iSCSI, FC, NFS).\nExperience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 administration.\nBasic scripting skills (PowerCLI or similar) for automation tasks.\nSolid understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals.\nPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\nComply with all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Descriptions\nComply with the company’s safety and quality policies\nPhysical and Travel Requirements\n15% travel, including global travel\nOccasional on-call work required\nPrefer 12pm - 9pm India time.
