Operates, inspects, and troubleshoots production line machinery and /or assemblies.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nVisually inspects, ensures, and assembles parts in process to quality specifications, being aware of critical visual and dimensional defects and determines acceptability of the parts, based on customer specifications.\nAssures accuracy of product packaging and tractability as required, including generating labels, the correct labeling of containers, and accurate part count.\nOperates and maintains production auxiliary equipment utilizing the correct safety precautions.\nMaintains a clean, orderly and safe workstation and environment at all times.\nCommunicates with Production leadership regarding any unacceptable parts and any malfunctions of the production process within their workstation.\nChecks apart counts by weighing and ensuring that scale(s) are set for accuracy.\nFollows all applicable SOPs, GMPs, and DOIs.\nContributes to continuous process improvement efforts to reduce scrap, cycle times, improve efficiency, and eliminate waste.\nProvides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.\nConforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and safety rules.\nComplies with the company’s safety policy at all times\nComplies with the company’s quality policy at all times\nExhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.\nMay be required to work mandatory overtime and/or irregular hours and/or on irregular days to complete assignments and meet business needs.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nWork Experience\nNo min required.\nPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\nExperience with cGMP purchasing practices, ISO, and medical device manufacturing.\nAble to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.\nSupport and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target\nAble to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times.\nAble to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.\nTravel Requirements\nNone: No travel required\nPhysical Requirements\nMedium-Exerting up to 50lb/22kg of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or up to 10lbs/4kgs of force constantly to move objects.\nShift\nThis position is a 12 hour 2-2-3-2 night shift. 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM.\nWest embraces diversity and equality of opportunity.
