And are equally committed to creating a healthier environment and planet through our sustainability efforts.\nJob Summary\nThis role will support the Process Engineering Team with modifications, validations, and enhancements of process equipment, and tooling to new and existing products to ensure safety, maximum yields, quality, cost effectiveness and throughput of our processes.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nSupport Key Activities within the Process Engineering Dept.\nAssist with the execution of equipment / process qualifications as required.\nRead and understand the execution of validation documentation protocols and summary reports.\nAssist with the implementation of equipment and/or process changes in line with the necessary change control process.\nParticipate in the efforts towards continuous improvement on quality, service, HSE and costs, to achieve state-of-the-art manufacturing processes.\nParticipate with the modifications, improvements, or validations of existing or new products, processes, tooling, equipment.\nReview processes continually to ensure their quality and efficiency.\nParticipate in process improvement projects.\nWork closely with Process Engineering on the introduction of new equipment or technology.\nAssist with ‘trouble shooting’ improvements when required in production.\nReview process engineering documentation and safeguard confidential information.\nWork within formal systems, such as cGMP, ISO, CE to ensure that new processes and improvements conform with quality and legal requirements.\nSupport to the Global (Process) Engineering group. Support local projects to implement the Global PE initiatives.\nEnsure that all projects and activities are in compliance with local, regional and best practice requirements on HSE and meet authority requirements.\nKeep Process Engineering manager advised of any unusual situation which might impair or affect safety, quality, production output or assigned projects.\nTransfer of process knowledge to Operations Group as required.\nAct in accordance with the company’s Guiding Principles and adherence to the corporate Code of Conduct.\nCompliance to all local site Environmental, Health and Safety regulations.\nCompliance to all local site company policies, procedures and corporate policies.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required.\nPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\n2+ years’ experience in a similar position within the manufacturing industry, ideally in a regulated industry.\nBasic knowledge of LEAN 6 sigma manufacturing principles\nYellow belt of higher an advantage.\nExperience with continuous improvement of processes and validations of processes/equipment\ncGMP experience is an advantage.\nSelf-motivated, results- and solution-oriented personality\nWell-developed communication and interpersonal skills.\nGood organizational and project management skills.\nHighly analytical and structured way of working\nExperience with drafting and execution of validation protocols and associated documentation.\nKnowledge of CAPA systems and use of formal problem-solving tools.\nTravel Requirements\n10%: Up to 26 business days per year\nPhysical Requirements\nLight-Exerting up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force frequently constantly to move objects.\nWhat We Offer\nNo relocation is provided for this opportunity\nSponsorship is not provided for this opportunity\nThis is an onsite position requiring the team member to be onsite 5 days per week\nShift\nThis position is a 12 hour 2-2-3-2 night schedule. 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM.\nWest is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company.
