This is a key technical role responsible for the creation of test plan, test cases and test reports for the development activities as per the Customer requirement spec.\nWe are seeking a forward-thinking Software Engineer in Quality Engineering to help drive the transformation from traditional QA to AI-augmented, intelligent quality engineering practices.\nThis role focuses on building Automation-first, AI-assisted testing solutions, leveraging and developing AI agents to accelerate testing, improve productivity, and enhance release confidence across Web, Mobile, API, and Data Platforms.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nAI-Assisted Testing & Automation\nDesign and implement AI-assisted workflows for generating Test Cases, Test Data, and Automation scripts.\nValidate and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure quality and reliability\nIntegrate AI tools into the QA lifecycle across Test Design, Execution, and Reporting\nTest Automation (API, Web, Mobile, Desktop, Data)\nDevelop and maintain automation frameworks with focus on: (SAP testing, Devices and Desktop Applications, Data Validation)\nBuild scalable, maintainable automation solutions\nIntegrate tests into CI/CD pipelines\nWith guidance will work on SAP Manual Testing, Functional and Regression Test Automation.\nAssist in product design to guarantee adherence of test coverage for meeting end user requirements.\nTest all aspects of the product/system like function/component, system, performance, Regression and service.\nAssist Design and development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management.\nSetting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.\nApply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks.\nRecord test results, report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.\nAnalyze performance test requirements and develop test plans.\nHandle performance testing and present results for validating and analysis to Project Teams.\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems required\nShift\n12:00 PM - 9:00 PM India Standard Time.\nWillingness to work outside of these hours as needed.\nTravel Requirements\n10%: Up to 26 business days per year\nWork Experience\nMinimum 3 years of relevant experience required.Core Technical Skills\nStrong programming skills in Java / Python / VB Script\nExperience in test automation frameworks - Robo framework with python/Hybrid with UFT tool\nHands-on experience in API testing and automation\nUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines\nAI & Emerging Technology Skills\nExperience with AI-assisted development/testing tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT etc.)\nBasic understanding of:Prompt engineering\nEvaluating AI-generated outputs\n\nExposure to LLM-based workflows, agents, or automation using AI\nTesting & QA Skills\nStrong understanding of:Test design techniques\nFunctional and non-functional testing\nDefect lifecycle and root cause analysis\n\nExperience with risk-based testing approaches\n\nPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\nAn understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach for the product\nAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment\nManage customer expectations regarding estimated response times for issue resolution.\nResolving the issues through Phone, chat, and email communication channels.\nMeet SLAs like response and resolution times with help of Functional and Technical team.\nCollaborate with Functional and Technical Support team members to properly manage customer inquiries and escalate when appropriate.\nOwn customer technical issues from initial report to resolution, communicating with customers regularly regarding issue status.\nRun monitoring reports for usage, performance, and/or availability.\nDocument solutions for knowledge-base and bring new ideas for innovation and automation excellence into the Support team.\nUnderstanding of Microfocus ALM Software (Microfocus Quality Center) Testing Tools\nExperience making data-driven decisions using analytics, A/B testing, Campaign Reports, and Dashboards, Analytical skills\nAbility to work in a team as well as an individual\nAbility to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks\nAble to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description\nSAP Testing, SAP Test Automation and Validation is plus.\nKnowledge of Azure DevOps and Jira is plus\nPhysical Requirements\nSedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
