We are looking for a Senior / Principal DevOps Engineer to strengthen the PAM / Core Platform area and help shape the AWS platform used by multiple engineering teams.\nThis is not a ticket-driven infrastructure role. We need someone who can take ownership of platform decisions, production reliability, developer enablement and the operational foundations of a high-volume transactional system.\nWhat You’ll Own\nAWS platform architecture and production readiness\n\nKubernetes / EKS environments and workload platform\n\nInfrastructure as Code with Terraform\n\nCI/CD and GitOps-based deployment workflows\n\nenvironment and account separation across development, test and production\n\nscaling, capacity, resilience and cost-aware infrastructure decisions\n\nobservability, alerting and incident-readiness\n\nsecrets, IAM, access control and platform security guardrails\n\ndeveloper self-service and platform automation\n\ndisaster recovery, backup and operational continuity patterns\n\nMust Have\nstrong hands-on AWS experience in production environments\n\ndeep Kubernetes / EKS knowledge\n\nTerraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code expertise\n\nCI/CD and GitOps experience (for example Argo CD or similar)\n\nstrong understanding of networking, IAM, secrets and cloud security\n\nproduction monitoring and observability experience\n\nexperience designing or operating highly available distributed systems\n\nability to troubleshoot complex production incidents\n\nstrong ownership and ability to work directly with senior engineers and architects\n\ngood English\n\nStrong Advantage\nhigh-volume fintech, payments, gaming, adtech or other data-intensive platforms\n\nKafka / MSK and event-driven systems\n\nKarpenter, HPA/VPA and workload autoscaling\n\nPrometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK / OpenSearch or similar\n\nCilium or advanced Kubernetes networking\n\nVault, AWS Secrets Manager or External Secrets\n\nmulti-account AWS environments\n\nexperience defining platform standards used by multiple engineering teams\n\nSRE practices, SLI/SLO design and incident management\n\nEngineering Environment\nAWS · EKS / Kubernetes · Terraform · GitOps · Argo CD · Kafka / MSK · Docker · OpenTelemetry · Prometheus / Grafana · CI/CD\nWorking Model\nB2B cooperation\n\nremote work from Poland\n\ninitial workshops in Kraków and follow-up onsite sessions approximately once per quarter\n\ninternational engineering environment with English used on the project\n\nrole shared across the platform rather than limited to a single product team\n\nWhy West Code\nAt West Code, we build engineering teams around ownership and strong technical delivery.
