technology projects involving real-time data processing, event-driven architectures and high-volume data platforms.\nWe are particularly interested in engineers who can build reliable streaming infrastructure for environments where data freshness, accuracy, latency and resilience directly impact business decisions.\nDepending on the project, you may work on live sports data platforms, real-time analytics, event processing, data ingestion pipelines or systems supporting dynamic pricing and predictive models.\nWhat You’ll Work On\nreal-time ingestion and processing of high-volume event data\n\nstreaming pipelines supporting live sports data and analytics\n\nintegration of external data feeds, APIs and event sources\n\ndata normalization, validation and enrichment\n\nevent-driven architectures and distributed data processing\n\nlow-latency data delivery to analytical and predictive systems\n\nhandling late, duplicated, missing or out-of-order events\n\nreal-time and historical data storage solutions\n\nmonitoring, observability and reliability of production data pipelines\n\ncollaboration with Data Scientists, Backend Engineers and domain specialists\n\nTechnology\nWe are particularly interested in engineers working with Python, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Spark Structured Streaming and SQL.\nTypical environments may also include Redis, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Airflow and modern observability tooling.\nExperience with event-time processing, stateful stream processing and distributed systems is particularly valuable.\nMust Have\n5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or backend/data platform development\n\nstrong Python and SQL skills\n\nhands-on experience building production-grade streaming or event-driven data pipelines\n\nexperience with Apache Kafka or comparable messaging technologies\n\npractical knowledge of Apache Flink, Spark Structured Streaming or similar frameworks\n\nsolid understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing\n\nexperience integrating external APIs and data sources\n\nunderstanding of data quality, consistency and failure recovery\n\nexperience with cloud infrastructure\n\ngood English\n\nability to work with technical and business stakeholders\n\nStrong Advantage\ncommercial experience with sports data, betting platforms or sportsbook technology\n\nlive sports event feeds and real-time match data\n\nodds feeds, market data or dynamic pricing systems\n\nlow-latency or high-throughput data
