As a premier Canadian aviation maintenance shop, the team of experts works to define avionics requirements to develop and certify solutions that fit each operator’s individual need.\n\nProfile\nThe Aircraft Technical Project Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of avionics modification projects. This role involves direct customer coordination, technical oversight, and cross-functional team leadership to ensure compliance, efficiency, and quality throughout the project life cycle. This position is based in Breslau, Ontario, and requires candidates to hold a valid Avionics \"E\" license..\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as the primary point of contact for customers regarding scheduling, purchase orders, and travel arrangements.\nConduct aircraft surveys to identify optimal modification design solutions.\nReview internal drawings to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance. \nCoordinate travel, accommodations, and transportation for the crew. \nManage manpower allocation and scheduling across departments for ongoing modifications. \nLiaise with third-party vendors as needed to support project execution. \nMaintain and update project data tracking tools. data tracking programs for projects.\nProvide technical data and documentation packages to support the projects.\nOversee parts and component requirements to ensure timely project completion.\nReviewing (s)STC projects for omissions and compliance.\nReview Task Cards and Additional work documents for accuracy.\nMentor crews for installation procedures, providing guidance and technical assistance.\nTroubleshoot installation issues and coordinate engineering support as required. \nPrepare Engineering Request documentation to address installation challenges. \nCompile all Return-to-Service documentation and review for accuracy and completeness. \nCoordinate final aircraft inspections and flight permit arrangements.\nPrepare installation compliance documentation including Modification Reports, Weight and Balance calculations, and logbook entries. \nCalculate and document electrical load changes.\nReview and validate work orders and associated documentation.\nProvide technical data and post-installation support to customers. \nRespond to customer inquiries about troubleshooting and snag rectification. \nEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company – approved manuals.\nQualifications\nShall hold current AME “E” Transport Canada license.\nProven technical aptitude with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.\nExperienced leading Teams.\nAbility to prioritize Task and manage time.\nA broad range of experience in testing and troubleshooting electrical, navigation, communication, and flight controls systems.\nExperience on corporate aircraft, De Havilland DHC 8 series and CL415/215 aircraft is considered an asset.\nAbility to work in confined spaces and at heights.\nFlexibility to work shift work and overtime may be required.\nMust be available to travel for occasional AOG recovery operations or for short periods of time for offsite support.\nPossess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.\nAble to work effectively, independently and as part of a team.\nGood oral and written communication
