This role works closely with Engineering, Aircraft Support, Logistics, Production, and Quality teams to ensure aircraft modifications and components are manufactured, assembled, and integrated efficiently while meeting design requirements, schedules, and quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components and modifications supporting flight test vehicle (FTV) programs.\nInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to define manufacturing and assembly requirements.\nIdentify and define the tooling, fixtures, and processes necessary to manufacture and assemble aircraft components while achieving required geometric tolerances and quality standards.\nCoordinate the implementation of engineering changes and assembly strategies in collaboration with Engineering, Production, Logistics, Materials, and Quality teams.\nSupport the resolution of technical issues related to aircraft assembly, manufacturing, and modification activities.\nParticipate in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods, procedures, and work instructions.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing and assembly activities support program objectives and schedules.\nInvestigate technical issues, perform root cause analyses, and evaluate potential solutions by considering cost, risk, schedule, and operational impacts.\nSupport research and development initiatives related to aircraft manufacturing, assembly processes, and flight test vehicle modifications.\nIdentify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, product quality, safety, and overall process performance.\nProvide technical support and guidance throughout the assembly and modification lifecycle.\nQualifications\nEducation\nUniversity degree in Engineering, or\nCollege diploma in Engineering Technology or a related discipline preferred.\nExperience\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in a transport-category flight test environment preferred.\nExperience supporting aircraft manufacturing, assembly, modification, or production activities.\nExperience working with multidisciplinary teams in engineering and manufacturing environments.\nExperience with continuous improvement, process development, and root cause analysis methodologies is considered an asset.\nComputer Skills\nMicrosoft Word (Intermediate)\nMicrosoft Excel (Intermediate)\nMicrosoft PowerPoint (Intermediate)\nWorking knowledge of CATIA V5\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD\nExperience with additional CAD and engineering design software is considered an asset.\nSuccess Factors\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate:\nStrong ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing documentation.\nExcellent 3D visualization and analytical problem-solving skills.\nStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nWorking knowledge of computer-aided design and engineering software such as CATIA V5, AutoCAD, and similar tools.\nStrong project management and organizational skills.\nAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nStrong perseverance, professional judgment, and attention to detail.\nInnovative thinking with a continuous improvement mindset.\nSound decision-making skills and the ability to assess technical risks and
