aircrafts. \n\nPosition Summary\nReporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Control Inspector is directly accountable for product control including final inspection, in process inspections, documentation and control of non-conforming material; control and verification of production process changes, tooling control, and control of monitoring and measuring devices. \n\nKey Responsibilities:\nAcquire knowledge of process specifications and materials\nImplementation and continual improvement of product inspection plans\nPerform in-process and final inspection of detail parts, minor and structural assemblies, plans their execution, documentation, and record retention \nPerform inspection duties to ensure all products, processes and services comply with applicable airworthiness, Company, or customer quality requirements \nManage nonconforming material control in accordance with company’s quality assurance procedures \nProvide assistance in quality review of Engineering Masters \nLiaise with quality engineering, methods engineering, design engineering and supply chain to develop resolutions and implement root cause corrective actions to technical or quality problems \nManage the control of monitoring and measuring (inspection and test) devices in accordance with established company’s quality assurance procedures \nActively participate and contribute as a member of the quality assurance team \nMonitoring, measuring and communicating product and process metrics \nPropose and support improvement projects related to quality assurance procedures \nParticipate and support corrective action request as a result of nonconforming trend analysis \nQualifications:\nA minimum of 2 years aerospace specific quality inspection and or equivalent \nA minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in an inspection, production, or handling product role \nExperience in the maintenance of De Havilland DHC1 thru DHC6 aircraft types is an asset \nWorking knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulation CAR 561, 571 and CAR Std. 57,561 \nUnderstanding of Certificates of Conformance (CofC) issues by part makers and Airworthiness Release Certificates (FAA 8130/TCAA Form One/Easa Form 1) \nExperience in continuous improvement \nIFS ERP system experience (or similar i.e. Total FBO, TRAX etc.) for the control and issue of aeronautical parts and materials is an asset \nTransport Canada accredited College Diploma in Aeronautics is an asset \nTransport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s license (AME) is an asset \nTechnical degree or diploma in Aerospace Engineering is an asset \nSkills: \nMust have a strong attention to detail skills \nKnowledge and ability to read and understand complex aircraft design drawings/blueprints and perform measurements/testing of parts made to these designs \nStrong focus on both internal and external customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills \nGood understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word,
