As the IT Program Manager, you'll ensure programs are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while managing risks and driving continuous process improvement. This role also requires strong technical acumen, deep understanding of SDLC, and proven experience in managing Agile/Scrum teams and providing guidance to other IT Project Managers. The ideal candidate will also have experience in banking or financial services and a track record of driving digital transformation programs.Manage business and IT stakeholders. Work towards development of business cases in alignment with the strategic plan through collaborative discussions with senior-level business and IT partners, shared services, and risk management. Decompose plans into programs/workstreams. May include complex multi-workstream initiatives. Develop execution approach and techniques to execute according to defined timelines, while keeping in mind time and budget constraints.\nPlan, execute, and deliver complex IT programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.\nManage end-to-end delivery of IT projects and programs, ensuring adherence to SDLC/PMLC standards.\nDevelop detailed program view, project plans, budgets, and resource plans and allocation. Identify dependencies and prioritize tasks to optimize project delivery timelines.\nAct as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and outcomes. Facilitate effective communication and decision-making across teams and leadership.\nLead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.\nProvide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and team members.\nEnsure project documentation is up-to-date and accessible for future reference. Optimize resource utilization to maximize project efficiency.\nIdentify opportunities for improving project management processes and methodologies. Provide guidance to the project managers.\nDrive execution of digital transformation initiatives working with cross functional technical teams.\nCollaborate with architects and engineering teams to have a fair understanding of technical designs, data flows and integrations.\nEnsure alignment of project deliverables with design, architecture and technology standards.\nWhen working with Agile teams, facilitate scrum ceremonies, partner with Scrum Masters/RTEs, and promote the culture of continuous improvement.\nPartner with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and external vendors to ensure alignment and management of cross functional dependencies.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks; maintain compliance with governance frameworks.\nPrepare and present risk reports and escalation plans to leadership.\nCommunicate effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.\nInfluence decision-making and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.\nProvide regular status reporting to all stakeholders, ensuring alignment across the board.\nWhat you'll need:\n10+ years of related experience in Project Management or similar field.\nBachelor's degree in related field required. Masters or MBA in related field preferred.\nPrevious leadership experience preferred.\nAdvanced to expert experience in various PMO functions including Governance, Resource Capacity Management, Talent Development, and Program Management.\nAdvanced experience in IT project management managing large, complex projects with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.\nAdvanced to expert experience with IT Program Management.\nAdvanced to expert relationship management skills.\nAdvanced to expert experience collaborating with executives, stakeholders, and management.\nAdvanced to expert experience leading through challenges and gaining buy-in across multiple customers/stakeholders involved in delivering program solutions.\nAdvanced to expert financial industry experience preferred.\nAdvanced speaking and writing communication skills.\nAdvanced experience working with project management tools (e.g., Workfront, MS Project, Planview, Jira, Azure DevOps or similar).\nStrong understanding of IT systems, software development life cycles (SDLC), and cloud technologies while also demonstrating strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.\nPreferred experience with digital transformation, digital conversion or projects emerged from M&A activities.\nProject Management Professional Certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.\nOccasional travel required.\nBenefits you’ll love:\nWe offer all the important things you'd want - like competitive salaries, an ownership stake in the company, medical and dental insurance, time off, a great 401k matching program, tuition assistance program, an employee volunteer program, and a wellness program.
