This role keeps supply flowing, protects customer commitments, and ensures orders are accurate, timely, and cost-effective. Success comes from strong supplier communication, urgency in shortage resolution, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain flow of materials across the business.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nManage PR-to-PO conversion, blanket orders, acknowledgments and PO closure.\nExpedite and de-expedite orders to prevent shortages and line-down risks.\nMaintain accuracy of pricing, MOQ, and lead times in ERP/MRP systems.\nEnforce contract compliance; ensure spending aligns with approved suppliers.\nCollaborate with Planners, GCM, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance to resolve parts shortage & quality issues.\nSupport supplier performance reviews with transactional insights.\nCollaboration with Planner & GCM on final EOL exposure haircut and exposure reduction\nSupport Planner on RTV negotiation and return to Supplier in event of Quality excursion\nERM - Collaboration with GCM on 2nd source qualification and delivery timeline\nMonitoring WOS, Aging and Pallet requirement for storage.\n REQUIRED:\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n5+ years in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role.\nERP/MRP system experience.\nPREFERRED:\nExperience in direct materials procurement within a manufacturing environment.\nFamiliarity with contract compliance and supplier negotiations.\nContinuous improvement mindset (Lean/Kaizen experience a plus).\nSKILLS:\nERP/MRP proficiency (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).\nStrong Negotiation & Influencing skill\nEnhance knowledge on commodity Landscape (to leverage 2nd source)\nSupplier communication and relationship management.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in execution.\nProblem-solving under pressure; shortage escalation management.\nCollaboration and stakeholder alignment.\nBasic data analysis (Excel, Power BI , Tableau & OBEIE)\n WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
