He/She will be able to routinely use technical judgment in solving problems making routine recommendations and improving existing work processes. He/She will make substantial technical contributions to the success of the department using proven solutions for complex technical problems. He/She will listen to customer feedback, recognize opportunities and provide feedback for technical innovation. Decision could impact quality and schedule of projects but would generally be contained to the department.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDiagnose and resolve electrical faults and provide remote and on-site technical assistance to service teams and customers.\nAnalyze recurring issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.\nPerform PLC programming, image detection, sensing technology, etc. according to product requirements.\nCarry out installation of process instrumentation, testing and commissioning job at site.\nSupport installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems for upgrades or retrofits.\nConfigure and calibrate electrical components such as sensors, drives, motors, PLCs, and safety devices.\nCoordinate with software and mechanical teams for integrated system adjustments.\nAssist in planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems and control panels.\nPerform corrective maintenance to restore system functionality and reduce downtime.\nEnsure maintenance activities comply with safety and quality standards.\nIdentify required spare parts for maintenance and repairs.\nWork with the procurement team to ensure availability of critical electrical components.\nEnvironmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS)\nFollow all EHSS procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards\nEnsure compliance of all facility equipments in accordance to regulations\nEnsure compliance of daily activity in facility within the regulatory permissible limit.\nCost Reduction\nHe/She is responsible for reducing costs associated within the area. This responsibility may include owning and completing cost reduction projects, identifying cost effective sustaining/manufacturing improvements, minimizing regular expenditures, and helping to promote a cost conscious culture.\n Required :\nBachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic/ Mechanical or equivalent Engineering study.\nPreferred :\nMinimum 5 years experience in Manufacturing Industrial preferably in Semiconductor\nSkills :\nExperience in IMS, 8D, AUTOCAD and excel, power point, and word is an added advantage\n WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
