The intern will support efforts to reduce manual data compilation in the Factory Quality Assurance Process (FQAP). This is a learning-focused role ideal for students eager to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world manufacturing setting.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAssist in building a simple automated system to track Off-hold status and reduce manual compilation\nLearn and apply basic data extraction and cleaning techniques on FQAP-related data\nHelp create simple reports or dashboards to display Off-hold tracking results\nWork with team members to understand existing manual workflows\nSupport data validation by comparing automated outputs with current manual records\nPrepare basic documentation on the work completed\nParticipate in team meetings and share progress updates\n REQUIRED:\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Technology (penultimate or final year)\nBasic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python or R)\nWillingness to learn new tools and technologies\nAble to commit to the internship duration (3-6 months)\nGood attitude, curiosity, and willingness to ask questions\nPREFERRED:\nExposure to data analysis concepts through coursework or personal projects\nBasic familiarity with Excel (formulas, pivot tables)\nSome awareness of databases or SQL (even from coursework)\nInterest in automation or process improvement\nSKILLS:\nBasic programming (Python, R, or VBA)\nFundamental data handling (sorting, filtering, basic analysis)\nMicrosoft Excel (intermediate level)\nWillingness to learn visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)\nGood communication and teamwork\nEager to learn and take initiative\n WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
