Analyze instrument data, troubleshoot equipment abnormalities, and escalate out-of-tolerance conditions to management with supporting evidence and corrective action recommendations, ensuring compliance with laboratory quality standards. Acts as the technical resource for day-to-day laboratory operations and supports issue resolution through established procedures.\nRegular Responsibilities\nExecute routine contamination analysis testing on assigned analytical platforms (GCMS, FTIR, LCMS)\nMaintain preventive maintenance (PM) schedules; update PM checklists and equipment logs\nPrepare and verify calibration standards; evaluate check standard pass/fail criteria\nIdentify and troubleshoot instrument abnormalities, machine faults, and performance degradation, implement corrective actions to restore normal instrument operation.\nDocument findings with supporting evidence (chromatograms, spectral data, control charts)\nSupport shift-based laboratory operations\nAdhere to chemical laboratory safety, SDS/MSDS protocols, and emergency response procedures\nCommunicate clearly with cross-functional teams on data validity and equipment status\nIdentify process pain points and propose digital/procedural enhancements\nContribute to method development and validation activities\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nAnalyze instrument data and investigate out-of-tolerance conditions. Identify and troubleshoot instrument abnormalities, implement corrective actions and escalate recurring issues to management with technical justification. Escalate unresolved OOC/OOS conditions to management with trend analysis and recommended actions.\n Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science\nSkill / Experience Requirement:\nFamiliar with Microsoft Windows, Office applications\nRequired to work in 12 hours shift pattern with day or night cycles\nAble to communicate in basic English\nStrong analytical judgment and attention to detail\nMust be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision\nOwn transportation for travelling to work\n WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
