Key tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams to create impactful data solutions, analyzing large datasets to enhance business metrics, designing and implementing machine learning models, developing scalable computer vision solutions, and maintaining web applications for data initiatives. Additionally, it involves interpreting data insights, communicating findings to stakeholders, and delivering presentations with visualized data and business conclusions\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-impact data science solutions that improve productivity and operations metrics\nAnalyze large-scale data and develop machine learning/AI models to drive business value and improve KPIs\nDesign, prototype, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve specific Manufacturing problems\nResearching and developing scalable computer vision and machine learning solutions for complex problems\nCreate and maintain web applications to support data science initiatives and facilitate data-driven decision making\nInterpret actionable insights from data and metadata sources, communicating findings to stakeholders for product improvement\nPrepare and deliver presentations with data visualizations and business conclusions\n REQUIRED:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or equivalent experience\nAt least 1 year of experience in Data Science.\nPREFERRED:\nPrior project or internship experience in Python, Computer Vision, ML model development, or GenAI\nProgramming skills in Python with data handling experience (pandas, APIs, scripting)\nFoundational understanding of AI/ML, Computer Vision, and image processing techniques\nKnowledge of mathematical modeling, optimization, or simulation techniques for operational problem-solving\nFamiliarity with SQL, databases, and data visualization through coursework or projects\nExposure to cloud platforms, Docker, Git, or basic DevOps concepts\nFoundational understanding of web development\nStrong problem-solving skills, learning agility, and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams\nWorking proficiency in English with confidence collaborating with international teams\nSKILLS:\nComputer Vision expertise - hands-on experience with CV libraries and models (OpenCV, YOLO, etc.)\nMachine Learning - solid understanding of ML algorithms and model development\nPython proficiency - demonstrated ability to write production-quality Python code\n WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
