The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiative\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProcess Optimization: Improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.\nQuality Control: Develop and implement methods to ensure products meet specifications and standards consistently. Collaborate with other departments.\nTroubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in manufacturing processes to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.\nRisk Assessment: Evaluate potential risks in manufacturing processes and implement measures to mitigate them, ensuring safety and compliance.\nContinuous Improvement: Regularly review processes and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and implement changes accordingly. Incorporate new technologies, materials, and methods to into existing workflows, enhance manufacturing processes and stay ahead of industry advancements.\nEquipment Optimization: Collaborate with Maintenance and Equipment teams to optimize equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive maintenance programs. Recommend equipment upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency and reliability.\nDocumentation: Maintain accurate records of processes, procedures, and changes to facilitate analysis, audits, and continuous improvement.\nCollaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including production, equipment engineering, development, quality, and management to address challenges and implement improvements.\nTraining: Provide training and guidance to production staff on new processes, equipment, and procedures to ensure effective implementation and adherence to standards.\n REQUIRED:\nMaster in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, process optimization techniques, and quality management systems.\nProficiency in process simulation software, statistical analysis tools and 8D problem solving methodology.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nPREFERRED:\nSkills and knowledge in 4IR is a great advantage.\nEagerness to stay updated with advancements in technology and manufacturing processes.\nEager to learn and strong growth mindset thinking\nSKILLS\nAbility to troubleshoot process and product issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.\nProficiency in analyzing process and product performance data, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing improvements.\nStrong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, articulate technical information, and collaborate on projects.\nSkills in managing projects related to new product introduction, process/machine upgrades, or process improvements, including budgeting and scheduling are added advantages\n WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
