Senior Engineer, Test Engineering

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

• Provide technical support and engineering solutions to improve productivity, quality, cost, and process efficiency.
• Lead automation and process improvement projects from opportunity identification through development, validation, and deployment.
• Develop automation solutions to reduce manual work, improve process stability, and minimize human error.
• Monitor yield, process performance, capacity, and KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead problem solving and root-cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain process instructions and standards to ensure consistent operations.
• Evaluate project effectiveness based on productivity, quality, cost, capacity, and process performance.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to technicians and team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute improvement projects and resolve manufacturing issues.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
• 0-2 years of engineering experience; new graduates are welcome.

PREFERRED:

• Basic knowledge of automation and robotic technologies.
• Familiarity with FMEA, 8D/problem-solving methodologies, Quality Control, ESD, and contamination control.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing, HDD business, and test processes.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI), Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and QCC.
